During the fall semester, we plan to:

 

-Meet with President Gast - by November

          -Discuss recycling, dining services, and growth of cohesion between environmental groups on campus

          -Focus on the signing of PCC and Talloires agreements and joining AASHE.

 

-Wind energy program

          -How much wind energy is being bought?

          -Change purchase form so students have to opt out of the fee.

          -Look into wind energy options for the entire campus.

 

-Meet with dining services

          -Meeting scheduled on Sept 18th at 1pm

          -Discuss composting, biodegradable to-go products, reusable utensils, etc.

 

-Meet with facilities - by November

          -Debase recycling myth (publish in Brown and White newspaper)

          -Contact recycling coordinator

          -Accountability of recycling separation - OneSource, Rartian Valley Disposal, etc.

 

-Improve on-campus recycling

          -Do recycling container inventory in every residence hall

          -Meet with Office of Res. Life and Office of Greek Life

                    -Use Sarah's survey (from her class) to poll students about recycling and sustainability actions.

          -Create plan on equipping every res. hall with proper recycling containers.

 

-Finish GHG emissions inventory - ASAP
